Giving Thanks

This week marks a time where people around the country gather with friends and family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Aside from the homemade stuffing and cranberry sauce, let's remember the reason behind the celebration: giving thanks.

This year try to mentally (or jot down on paper-- this helps you look back on it next year) 3 specific things that you are thankful for. An additional way to give thanks for what you have is to give to someone who has less than you. Consider dropping a can off at a food drive, make a small donation to a charity of your choosing, or just do something nice for someone. It can be as simple as dropping a few coins in a meter that is about to expire. It's the small things that add up to make a big difference.
